THE THING was a really neat outfit out of San Francisco. Founded by artists Jonn Herschend and Will Rogan, THE THING published limited edition objects for a decade before recently closing up shop. Produced by THE THING, this bandana was designed by painter and poet Johanna Jackson, and now that THE THING is no longer, it can be considered even more collectible. The words on the 100% cotton bandana are a poem made up of language collected from the liminal, sleepy place where Johanna starts her day: “I am dreaming I am walking on a city street but I need to acknowledge that my name is the same as a computer program. I need to acknowledge it and take the next step, whatever that is.”
